1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Checkthese AI Server at checkthese.com/ai (the "Service"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

"Ask AI" is a tool that allows users to interact with an AI for free, providing up to 21 questions daily. After using these 21 questions, users can purchase an additional 21 questions for 21 satoshi via the Bitcoin Lightning Network. If a user has no more questions left, they will be prompted to wait until the next day or pay to continue querying.

3. User Conduct

3.1. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes.

3.2. Do not use the AI to ask illegal questions or to generate malicious code.

4. User Tracking

Users are tracked by their IP address and other identifiers to manage the daily query limit and to prevent abuse.

5. Intellectual Property

Content generated by the AI does not possess intellectual property rights. You may use the AI's responses freely, but you do so at your own risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for the content or accuracy of the AI's answers or behavior. Use the Service at your own risk.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or change these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted will mean you accept those changes.

8. Sharing of Questions and Answers

Users have the option to share their questions and answers. When a user chooses to share:

• Anyone with the provided link can access the shared data.
• The shared data is stored on our servers for a maximum of 30 days before being permanently deleted.
• If the user does not opt to share, no such data is stored or shared by default.

9. Credit Purchase

Users can purchase extra credits in advance to use the AI service without interruption. These credits are in addition to the daily free questions available. All credits are linked to the user's IP address. It is your responsibility to purchase credits using the correct IP address. Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you change your IP address, you will lose access to your purchased credits unless you return to the site using the IP address associated with the purchase.

• Shared IP Usage: Please note, if another user from the same IP address as you uses our service, they will have access to the credits you've purchased.
• Privacy-Enhanced Settings: We recommend against purchasing credits if you are using iOS Private Relay or other privacy-enhanced settings that might assign you a temporary IP. Such settings could lead to the loss of access to your credits as the IP address may change.
