Understanding the Similarity Percentage
The similarity percentage is calculated based on how close your guess is to the secret word. Here's what it means:
- 100%: Your guess is exactly the secret word. You win!
- High percentage (e.g., 80-99%): Your guess is very close. You might be off by just a letter or two.
- Medium percentage (e.g., 50-79%): Your guess has some similarities but still differs significantly.
- Low percentage (e.g., 0-49%): Your guess is quite different from the secret word.
The similarity is based on the Levenshtein distance, which considers the number of single-character edits required to change one word into another.
Features
- Hint Button: Click "Get Hint" to reveal the first letter of the secret word. For longer words, it also shows the total number of letters.
- Daily Word: The secret word changes each day, so come back tomorrow for a new challenge!
- Guess History: Your previous guesses and their feedback are displayed, helping you refine your strategy.
